In order to follow up and review the performance of the “National Cooperative Platform”, a meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Jafar Kabiri, Deputy Minister of Cooperative Affairs, Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, Hojjatoleslam Hassan Shojaei, representative of Abhar, Khorramdareh and Soltanieh and Chakad Sanat Fallah Cooperative Group.

Ali Yekeh Fallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Chakad” Company, announcing the production of the first prototype of this new car, said: “This is a joint product of industry and university.” We were able to combine science and experience by employing young and academic human resources in various fields.

He added: “Our university colleagues are present in the board of directors and executive departments.” These departments require a lot of knowledge and experience, and this shows the high cooperation between the two institutions of academia and industry. Our team also includes master’s and doctoral students in various technical-engineering fields in the fields of parts, automotive, electricity and software.

Fallah went on to describe the project: This project is called the “National Cooperative Platform” and is the result of years of research and training that has been done in various sectors with the investment and support of private sector component makers.

He further specified: The private sector in the form of a consortium of domestic parts manufacturing with the cooperation of several financial foundations, are the investors of this large project, which has so far invested 13,000 billion tomans.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chakad Company stated: The planning for creating a consortium is in four parts:

  • Raw material suppliers
  • Manufacturers of auto parts
  • Distributors and after-sales parts
  • Export

Ali Yekeh Fallah added: “This macro plan is based on the resistance economy; It creates direct employment for 7,000 people, the private sector designs and manufactures cars for the first time in Iran, and increases non-oil exports. Also, the production of clean cars is based on advanced technologies and is based on the technical knowledge of domestic experts.

In the end, the chairman of the board of directors of Chakad Sanat Fallah Cooperative Group said: “Designing this platform is a knowledge-based work and this is the first time that this happens nationally and internationally.” Also, relying on the scientific ability of the elites, we have localized this work. Many of our domestic cars lag behind the global standards of the automotive industry, but this project is based on internationally defined standards.

Project manager of Yeksaan Aryaan Khodro, Chakad Sanat Group, in explaining the experimental product that was produced, said: “Our product design process is based on APQP.” The design process is also based on Ford innovation and we have included our standard measurement model in the Hyundai i10. This means that the standard test of all parts of our product is in accordance with this Hyundai car. We also negotiated with various foreign companies. For example, there is a Mitsubishi engine that is made in China and we will probably succeed.

Referring to the different capabilities of this product compared to the cars of the world, he said: “We have created both electric and gasoline fuels in this product.” Of course, this is different from hybrid models because the hybrid model has both fuels at the same time and can be used, while in this product it is worked separately in the car.

Project manager of Yeksaan Aryaan Khodro added: “This product of our cars will be able to have an electric or gasoline platform.” We believe that hybrid cars have no future in the world of technology and are a kind of transition. Our products will be of both electric and gasoline types, using both environmental technology and more customer choice.

In the end, the car project manager of Arian Khodro Company, Chakad Sanat Group, pointed out that we try not to limit the price of the car that is produced to a certain group and use it by different classes of society: “Of course, we will also produce cars that are more luxurious and with facilities.” Special is offered to the market and this means that some products are higher, which of course will be able to export.

Kabiri, Deputy Minister of Cooperative Affairs of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, said at the end of the meeting about the “National Cooperative Platform” project: “Chakad Sanat Company made useful proposals in the cooperative affairs department to strengthen the automotive industry and an initial and very important agreement was reached.”

Expressing satisfaction with the existence of a group spirit among artisans, he said: “This is a good start for group activities in the cooperation department of the ministry.” Fortunately, both the government and the parliament are in the mood to support this plan, and we can hope to hear good news soon about increasing car production.

Shojaei, a representative of the people of Abhar, Khorramdareh and Soltanieh, said that the “National Cooperation Platform” project has the support of the parliament and the government and said: “In this project, self-confidence, creativity and innovation, courage, risk-taking and youthfulness are evident and good plans have been made.”

He also pointed out that our car industry has many problems at the moment and no one is satisfied with the situation of the car market, he said: This indicates that we need a serious change in the country’s automotive industry. Of course, everyone knows that there is resistance to make a change in the automotive industry.
